Do you have a passion for teaching and inspiring young minds? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for our part-time Improv Comedy Instructor position! Now hiring for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
We are a growing Jacksonville based company looking for enthusiastic, creative, and fun-loving individuals who can teach improv comedy skills and concepts to children aged 8 to 14. You will be responsible for teaching pre-prepared engaging and interactive one hour lessons in Improv Comedy that foster confidence, creativity, and collaboration among your students.
To apply for this position, you must have:
- A major or minor in education, theatre or a related field
- Experience and interest in working with children in an educational setting
- An interest in improv comedy, theater, or performing arts (Prior training or experience in Improv Comedy is a plus, but is not a prerequisite for this position)
- A flexible schedule and availability to work on selected weekday afternoons between 2pm - 4:30pm
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to commute to area schools in Duval and St. Johns Counties
- A positive and encouraging attitude and a sense of humor
